Pasadena’s Halloween celebrations continue October 25 and 27, 2026, with two community events offering very different ways to enjoy the season. From costumed dogs parading through Playhouse Village Park to a bingo and lotería fundraiser at a local brewery, there’s something for families, pet owners and friends looking to celebrate close to home.

Bark in the Park: Howl-O-Ween Parade and Costume Contest returns Sunday, October 25, while Spooky Bingo and Lotería takes place Tuesday, October 27, benefiting Union Station Homeless Services.

Both events offer a chance to enjoy Halloween in Pasadena while supporting the organizations and community spaces that make the city special.

Bark in the Park Returns to Playhouse Village on October 25

Pasadena’s four-legged residents are getting their own Halloween celebration.

Bark in the Park: Howl-O-Ween Parade and Costume Contest returns to Playhouse Village Park on Sunday, October 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., bringing dogs, their owners and Halloween enthusiasts together for an afternoon of costumes and community fun.

The free event, organized by Playhouse Village Association and presented by Playhouse Village Foundation, will feature a dog costume parade, contests with prizes, treat stations, snacks for pups and photo opportunities.

Whether your dog is dressed as a superhero, a pumpkin or something entirely unexpected, the event offers an opportunity to show off a creative costume alongside other Pasadena pet owners.

And you don’t need a dog to appreciate the spectacle. Visitors can enjoy watching the parade and seeing the costumes that Pasadena’s pet-loving community brings to the park.

The organizers have indicated that additional activity details and costume contest registration information will be announced closer to the event.

For Pasadena residents looking for a family-friendly Halloween activity, Bark in the Park combines seasonal fun with an opportunity to spend time outdoors and connect with fellow dog lovers.

Spooky Bingo and Lotería Supports Union Station Homeless Services on October 27

Two days later, Pasadena’s Halloween festivities take a different turn.

Spooky Bingo and Lotería will bring an evening of games, craft beer and charitable giving to Cervecería del Pueblo on Tuesday, October 27, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Hosted by Union Station Homeless Services, the ticketed fundraiser invites participants to enjoy multiple rounds of traditional bingo and lotería while supporting the organization’s work addressing homelessness throughout the San Gabriel Valley.

Lotería, often described as Mexican bingo, replaces numbered balls with illustrated cards featuring familiar images such as El Corazón, La Sirena and El Gallo. Players mark matching images on their boards as the cards are called.

The combination of bingo and lotería offers an approachable evening for both experienced players and those trying the games for the first time.

Admission includes participation in the games, opportunities to win prizes and one Cervecería del Pueblo beer or nonalcoholic beverage.

More Than a Night of Games

The fundraiser supports Union Station Homeless Services, a Pasadena-based nonprofit that has worked to address homelessness across the San Gabriel Valley for more than five decades.

The organization focuses on helping individuals and families access housing and supportive services.

By bringing its fundraiser to Cervecería del Pueblo, Union Station Homeless Services is creating an opportunity for community members to enjoy an evening out while contributing to an organization serving local residents.

For those looking for something different to do in Pasadena during Halloween week, the event offers an alternative to traditional parties and haunted attractions.

Two Ways to Celebrate Halloween in Pasadena

What makes these events appealing is how differently they bring people together.

Bark in the Park celebrates Pasadena’s dog-loving community with a free outdoor gathering in Playhouse Village. Spooky Bingo and Lotería offers a social evening centered on games, local craft beer and support for a nonprofit organization.

Neither requires traveling far from home to enjoy the Halloween season.

For families, pet owners and residents searching for things to do in Pasadena in October 2026, these two events offer distinct ways to participate in the city’s seasonal celebrations.
